We were asked to put together a powerpoint on all of my ideas for the song that I have chosen. In the presentation I talked about many things which I wanted to include in my music video.
Music Video Audience Feedback
The feedback that I got for my ideas of my music video were really suggestions to what I could do to make my music video even better, rather than change anything to it.
The group were curious about what characters I would use in the song and if I were to only use one person or more. They also were asking me loads of questions about my ideas which I mentioned in my pitch and I was justifying my points to them so they got a better understanding of what I wanted to create.
The strengths of my ideas where I was very precise on what I wanted each of my 5 scenes to look like and by showing video examples as well as explaining what I want my video to look like it gave them good visuals to understand what I was trying to say. Also they felt that the style of song I was doing and the type of scenes which I had matched each others mood and would create the right effect.
The weaknesses of my idea are that if it is not done correct by only using black and white it could make my work look somewhat boring and because the song is a slow song and by me only using black and white it could work in both a good way and a bad way but as I said in the video I would try and get everything lit to the best of my ability and create a nice mise-en-scene from it.
