Blog Reflections - Week Three

During the third week of school I started to look at a range of unsigned artist, browsing through loads until I found one which I thought would suit me best and one which I really liked. The website I used when finding my artist was unsigned.com, after hours of searching I finally found my artist. The name of the artist I choose was THICKE and they were a girl group but if you were to listen to them without a picture you would think it is one person. The song I had chosen is 'Let U Go' and it is a R&B/Soul/Pop song which immediately as soon as I heard I really liked. The artist I have chosen is american and are based in Los Angeles, California.
After finding my artist and song I then had to go and analyse lyrics by firstly writing a transcript of them by listening to the song and then analyzing them finding the true meaning behind the song. And the message it is trying to put across to the audience. 
We then looked at beachcoming and looked at 5 music videos in which influenced me in the ways in which I want to create my own music video.
