Thrift Shop Mash Up
The section I was allocated was 3:20-3:41. The style of music video my partner Zahra and myself had to do was impressionist, which means An impressionist styled music video is one that the imagery matches the mood, but the video has nothing to do with it. So we though because the song is such an up beat and happy song we would create something that fits into that vibe, by having a lively, happy and confident scene we think fits it very well.
Before filming we made a plan of what each of the shots were although we were only allocated 20 seconds of the music video we had to include quite a lot of shots because of the fast pace of the song, plus we though the more shots we include to more interesting it would be for the audience to look at.
