What have you learnt from the video remake?
For the video remake we were put into pairs and were given a section of the song Thrift Shop to create a music video for, my partner and myself were given 20 seconds of the song and were allocated to do a music video with an interperative style. Before actually filming we had to create a shot list which included what each shot was going to be, which included what the shot type was, the duration of the shot and what movement would be happening in each shot. For example in shot one we would have a girl burst through the doors. The impact that this has on our planning for cratiung a music video refreshed my memory on the steps taken to create a piece of work and the gradual build up to work. The technical skills used where able that I were able to refresh my memory on the different camera shots and the different techniques whilst filming.
